French Dance group Pakito made it big with their smash hit “Living On Video” back in 2006. The song was #1 across Europe and it’s popularity eventually brought it over to the U.S. We here at AscenDance Radio first heard it on the former XM Satellite’s Dance channel, XM 81 BPM. We really enjoyed the song and over the past few years sought out other songs from Pakito only to realize it was like finding a needle in a hay stack.
While the U.S. embraced Pakito’s hit “Living On Video“, finding any other songs by the talented artist was near impossible. The closets we came to seeing another song by Pakito in the U.S. was “Moving On Stereo” on BPM’s “Potential New Music Show“. Needless to say it never made it out. To this day we never understood why artists such as Pakito, Scooter, etc. can’t get any love from the states.
That’s one of the many reasons why we launched AscenDance Radio. We live and broadcast from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the U.S. and we enjoy the work put out by the Pakito’s and Scooter’s of the world. Them and many other European, Asian, etc. artists who may not be your regular Top 40 acts but still produce top notch music that everyone can enjoy. From what we can tell our audience appreciates them too.
It’s with that we are glad to announce that after a 3 year hiatus of making a few remixes here and there, Pakito is back with their brand new original production, “Harmony”! It’s their first single in years and I hope it’s the start of what looks to be their 2nd CD!
Pakito is, at least for us, one of those artists who can make great song after great song. If you want to know what we’re talking about you can find a lot of their songs by Requesting it on AsceDance Radio the website’s “Listen” tab. Of course you can also find their music on Youtube.
If you’re like us and enjoy their music you can buy an Import of Pakito’s CD on Amazon.
You can also buy their latest single “Harmony” on iTunes.
NOTE: We just want to support the Dance artists that make this station possible. Be sure to request Pakito’s songs here at AscenDance Radio.
