As much as I personally enjoy listening to ADR every day at work, you can’t argue that there’s nothing like driving down the highway blasting Dance music. Now you can!
All you need is the following:
1) 3G Phone with unlimited web plan
2) Your phone has to have stereo bluetooth (A2DP) built in
3) Bluetooth speakerphone
4) Car with FM radio
This is the one I bought:

My T-Mobile G1 streams my station. Through it’s stereo bluetooth (A2DP) it talks to my bluetooth speakerphone. My bluetooth speakerphone uses its built in FM transmitter to talk to my car’s FM radio. And you get your favorite online streams through your car stereo. The above linked bluetooth speakerphone is smart enough to find the best FM station to transmit through. It really is that easy.
I stream through the 64kbps connection, which is obviously lower quality than the 128kbps but it also disconnects less. It’s not the perfect solution but it is a very viable alternative to getting “ADR In Your Car”!
