New York’s biggest Electronic Music Festival is coming September 4th-5th and with a star studded line up, Electric Zoo promises to not disappoint. To celebrate the highly anticipated Dance Music event, AscenDance Radio will be counting down the weeks left with special guest mixes from artists who will be performing at Electric Zoo’s 2010 event! You will hear sets from the likes of Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Chuckie & more!

We will also be giving away a free CD of Electric Zoo’s Saturday night headliner, The Chemical Brothers! More details to follow within the coming days.

Every Friday at 1PM EST, we will air the following mixes, until we reach Labor Day Weekend when Electric Zoo will be held.

Electric Zoo, New York’s Electronic Music Festival is coming this Labor Day weekend on September 4 & 5, 2010. Following the success of its kickoff year, Made Event is very excited to announce the hugely anticipated 2010 edition bringing together the highest caliber of artists from across the many sub-genres of electronic music to New York’s premier open air festival to 26 acres of greenery on Randall’s Island Park with stunning water views.

On Saturday, September 4th – dance music pioneers The Chemical Brothers, along with globally acclaimed DJs Benny Benassi, Richie Hawtin, ATB, Major Lazer, Pretty Lights and Kaskade take to the main stage for headlining performances. On Sunday, September 5th – the world’s #1 DJ Armin van Buuren, along with Above & Beyond, John Digweed, Fedde Le Grand, Boys Noize, and Bassnectar provide the headlining talent. This year’s edition of Electric Zoo is ready to close out the summer with a bang. With something for every palate, Electric Zoo brings you quality electronic music and continues to establish itself as the choice summer outdoor destination for top-notch talent, production, and sound.

    What an unbelievable list! The only thing is that there seems to be an under appreciation of electronic music that doesn’t go so hard for sounding “sensational” as far as extremes of tempo, timbre etc. I feel like the most seasoned: aphex twin, moby etc, avoid this. great up and comers in that vein though too. This guy has his album out for free and is still pretty unknown
