The moonlight was shinning and the beats were thumping atop the Gansevoort Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves, first, the venue.
The Gansevoort hotel’s rooftop has become the host for many parties in Miami. This rooftop paradise features a 110 foot lavish pool that is ideal in the daytime and by night the entire area easily turns itself into the hottest lounge/nightclub in Miami. The best part about it? Probably the dress code: beach attire!
Located 18 stories above the hotel, The Rx Pool Party, hosted by Vladimir L. Jean, featured a nice lineup of DJ’s: Saeed Younan (Younan Music), Justin Sheppard , Armand Pena , Joe Maz, Spencer Gordon , mixshow DJ, Tara Brooks.
While we didn’t make it to the day party, we did have a chance to catch the nighttime wonder and were taken by surprise by the scenery. Filled with private cabanas, plasma TVs and a breathtaking view of the ocean on one side and the city on the other, this party could have only been made better by one thing; a set by DJ Tara Brooks.
As the AscenDance Radio resident DJ, Tara Brooks took to the turntables, the crowd pushed forward and danced to every beat she dropped. Everyone there seemed to be having a great time and we did too! Tara Brooks’ set really knocked the ball out the park and was the perfect close to a energy filled day.
